Obligatory Iceland Scene

A moody Icelandic scene done in Unreal Engine 4, using Quixel Megascans assets. Inspired by the iconic 'Rebirth' short. One of my first forays into real-time rendering.

With real-time, it was easy to iterate different feels for the scene, allowing a rapid iteration with
lighting and mood.

The low-lying fog here was a 3D volumetric particle system - meaning that unlike traditional fog planes, the mist can wrap around and occlude objects in the scene, as well as contribute to light scattering.
